When you attend a workshop, boot camp, webinar, virtual class, or online program through The Scholarship Workshop, you are doing more than learning how to find and win scholarships, you are also gaining access to an exclusive scholarship opportunity sponsored by Marianne Ragins.
All registered participants of eligible Scholarship Workshop presentations, boot camps, virtual classes, webinars, and online classes may apply for the Ragins/Braswell National Scholarship (RBNS).
This scholarship is designed to reward students who take action, apply the strategies taught in class, and demonstrate determination, leadership, and persistence in pursuing their educational goals.
Whether you are a high school senior, current college student, graduate student, or adult learner returning to school, this scholarship opportunity is open to students from all backgrounds and fields of study.

The Ragins/Braswell National Scholarship is not based only on grades or financial need. It recognizes students who actively use scholarship-winning strategies and show initiative in pursuing their education.

Who Can Apply?
You are eligible to apply if you attended The Scholarship Workshop presentation or an online class (includes boot camps, webinars, virtual classes, or online classes about scholarships, college access, or financing higher education) taught by Marianne Ragins within the past year.
Simple Eligibility Timeline
To apply in a given year, you must have attended a class, webinar, workshop, or boot camp led by Marianne Ragins between April 30 of the previous year and April 30 of the current year.
Examples
- Attended in September 2025 → Eligible to apply for the 2026 scholarship
- Attended in January 2026 → Eligible to apply for the 2026 scholarship
- Attend in September 2026 → Eligible to apply for the 2027 scholarship
- Attend in March 2027 → Eligible to apply for the 2027 scholarship
- Attend in August 2027 → Eligible to apply for the 2028 scholarship
- Attend in March 2028 → Eligible to apply for the 2028 scholarship
- Attend in July 2028 → Eligible to apply for the 2029 scholarship
Applications should be submitted only by registered participants who attend an eligible workshop, boot camp, webinar, or class.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship amounts vary
- Scholarships are nonrenewable
- Awards must be used during the academic period following receipt
- Applicants must plan to attend or currently attend an accredited undergraduate or graduate institution
Documentation of enrollment or attendance may be required.
Current Deadline
For the 2026 and 2027 scholarship cycles, the application deadline has been extended to June 15.
