Creating Your Virtual Study Area and Scholarship Nook
(
personal notes from Marianne)

As a mom of two middle schoolers, trying to create the best environment in our home for the virtual learning school year start in our county has been a big concern for me. I’ve stressed over lighting, internet access and dead spots in our home, screen size and where I think the kids can focus best. Read on for the items I’ve made sure that each of my kids have. Although I know this may not be possible for everyone, I recommend this for all students, including adults, because aside from a dedicated home office, I also have another study nook (for me) to focus on scholarship strategy and updating my scholarship resources. Don’t forget a comfy chair!

By the way, this study nook is VERY similar to the area I set up in my mother’s home when I was a high school senior. My desk/laptop table was her dining room table. This setup helped me to earn over $400,000 in scholarships. I hope it can help you focus and be successful too!
