In October, we placed a spotlight on Breast Cancer awareness. As October comes to an end, we can also begin to think about scholarships for those who have been affected by breast cancer and other types of cancer. Scholarships are available for cancer survivors and their relatives who are pursuing higher education. These scholarships not only offer financial assistance but also provide a sense of hope and support to those who have been impacted by cancer.

Marianne has specialized virtual and in-person workshops and boot camps for high school and middle school students, current college students, and graduate students. Marianne frequently works with TRIO and other student focused programs. This year she has conducted sessions with Carl Sandburg TRIO SSS, Mercer University Upward Bound, University of Texas – San Antonio ETS, the California Medicine Scholars Program, St. Petersburg College – College Reach-Out Program (CROP) and more.

Upcoming Scholarship Deadlines

FOR CURRENT COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL AND IN SOME CASES, YOUNGER STUDENTS (ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE)

November 14, 2023 – Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship – Scholarships up to $50,000 available to high school seniors.
November 30, 2024 – Unigo Education Matters Scholarship – $5000 available to students at least 14 years of age who write a 250 word essay.

December 5, 2023 – Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships – $10,000 available to students age 5 to 25 who use their creativity to stop hunger in their communities.

January 31, 2024 – Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award – $5000 award available to a high school senior, a current college student, a student with a GED, or a parent of a high school senior, college student, or student with a GED.
